Noise

Location: The Clubhouse, 131 Glenridge Ave.
Artist: Rorshach
Coordinated by: Kathryn Waggener McGuire

Presented as an extension of a physical work, this piece explores the search for truth and illumination amongst the chaos of emotions within the things that inspire us. We are curious about the way we deal with new thoughts and things we once deemed as comfortable when time takes a toll on our perspective. So here, we explore the beauty in the noise present internally and externally.

Rorshach is composed of Andre Leon and Robert Ramone; two artists that are natives to Newark, New Jersey. Like other inner city kids from around the world, growing up, their focus was solely on circumventing the obstacles set against them. Now, they use those same obstacles as the foundation for their creative works. As Rorshach, their focus is mainly on mixing figurative realism with abstract expressionist graffiti on both canvas and street.
