Elizabeth started drawing animals when she was 10 and grew up in a home with never less than 18 pets. The creatures in this exhibit, whether real or imaginary, were created over the past 30 years.

Elizabeth has been artist and teacher living in Montclair for the past 30 years. She owned and operated The Clay Studio were she taught kids and adults clay and mixed media classes up until 2016. She has also done a variety of community projects including the Unity Wall Tile Project and Tony’s bench at MHS, to name a few.

She has always been a maker, led by her curiosity and adventurous spirit, which is grounded in a deep connection to the natural world.
